I have an 01 4Runner Sport 4x4 w/ Sunroof that seems to be a little limited on head room. I'm not all that tall (6'0") so I must not be the only one that hits my head on the roof periodically while going over bumps. I also get the feeling that I'm sitting quite high and I need to duck down a bit to see higher objects outside, such as close stop lights, etc.

Unfortunately the seat adjustments don't really allow for adjusting the height of the seats. There is one that adjusts the seat pan angle which does affect the height slightly, but not very much.

I took a look at the brackets to see if I might be able to fab something, cut them, lower them, etc.; but the inside bracket that bolts to the floor sits on a hump and I don't really see a simple way to lower it.

Does anybody know of a solution to lower the front seats?

I also have a 2001 4runner and this is exactly why I looked and looked until I found one with out a sun roof, I am 6ft 3in.
