i think 2day was a strange day for me.

anyways as i go on the highway to go home from work i saw a teg, civ, and toyo tacoma gunning down the highway,as im changing lanes into the center lane i see a Bike fly by me. an i think nothing of the bike,but it got me into the mood to run. then i was cut off by a SHO. and he continues on his merry way. so i decide to tail him as i go home.so now
im cruzin behind the SHO and the 05 mustang is starting to merge on to the highway with me and the SHO then i noticed on the mustang it had 2 tailpipes...i think to my self "hmm GT nice i hope the SHO and the GT are willing to go for it." then the stang lines up with me and drops it a gear. i quickly flash my high beams at the SHO and i drop into 3rd. the i see the SHO take off I follow at the GT stang goes also. i tailgate the SHO closely i look a the speedo and im at 75. the stang jumps behind me and cuts one more lane over and goes for it but his effort was thwarted when the SHO cut into his lane leaving me wide open. I punch it and take off and the SHO takes off with me. then i see in my rear view the Stang couldnt make up the ground it lost and i look over to my right and i see the SHO's headlights losing ground on me. i glance the Speedo and im at 95 and i glance to my left and i see a 05 bmw 5 series staying neck and neck with me. i see the passenger of the bmw signal me that he wants to run also so i punch it all the way to 105 and hes there with me and all four of us get snuged by trafficso we slow down to regular speed again until we see another wide open section and we all hammer it. i shut off at 125 mph. i look to my left olny to see nothing but the shine of the bmw's xenon headlights. i look to the right i see nothing i look in the rear view to see the SHO killed the Stang i get off on my exit and the guy in the SHO and the Stang follow. I say to myself "ok thats enough speed for 2nite. chill out" then i see the Sho and the Stang line up 2 streets before i trun into my neighborhood. and im behind a regular driver when the green drops the SHO launches as good as the Stang and by the top of 2nd gear the SHO got 1/2 a car on the stang.

this was one crazy night

u know for sure it was a gt mustang? did it have fog lights?

yup they were on when he jumped behind me and into the next lane

I'd say it was a v6 stang if a SHO Taurus pulled on him, The SHO's are only high 14-low 15 cars.

wow not bad but i am kinda susprised that u ate the stang that sho sounds like a ass though cutting off the stang like that i would have been pissed as hell. good runs watch out for the gt's though that get the xcalibator chip they gain alot of horsepower (20's). no lie i wrote up on how the gt needs 6 parts to run a mid 12 quater mile with 2500 in parts and labor.

well the new stangs have a little trouble once your speeds start getting up around 100 because their aerodynamics arent all that great. it would be interesting to see what would happen from a dig...

haha, the 05 stang being aerodynamically not that great is a understatment. most cars frontal design is suppose to look like this

yup but thats not the point behind the car, its not supposed to be super fast over 100mph. the look is geared towards a muscular throwback look. which i think looks excellent... but thats my opinion

oh trust me i really have nothing against the new stang. the GT's look great, its the v6's that i see all the damn time that i hate.

i can relate there, even being a mustang guy myself. they are everywhere, and if u ask me they dont look as good as a gt either even though the differences are pretty minor. but with that said id still take one. the engine in it is a lot better than the 3.8 in the other ones

i think theyre ugly from the front.

Sad thing is, the v6 comes with the nicer wheel package...good call on that one Ford.
