On our forum we have...
gq_626 (Pauter rods, Arias pistons, ATS twin plate clutch, GReddy tt kit with FMIC, ARP head and main studs, etc.) - Goal: 650-675rwhp Currently: breaking in motor and tuning weekly...latest update is ~510rwhp (lives in NC)

Going Deep (same setup) - goal: 500-650rwhp Currently: breaking in motor and getting tuned by CJ-Motorsports in a few weeks...latest update is 540 something rwhp (at 5500 ft altitude on 19's)

The current holder for highest rwhp for a street 350Z with VQ35DE is kudos... ~610rwhp and ~540rwtq...built by SGP Racing...curently getting upgraded not to be outdone.

350zdcalb (same setup as going deep) - goal: 600-650rwhp Currently: breaking in motor and getting tuned every other week...latest update is 603rwhp at 5500 ft. altitude on 17's

phunk (GReddy tt, pauter rods, aebs sleeves, arias pistons I think, etc.) - goal: 750-800rwhp Currently: 467rwhp with hks fcon vpro, greddy tt, hks ssqv, stock internals...currently assembling engine and turbo's to be put back in his Z. (owner of CJ-Motorsports) (held the stock internal VQ35DE in a 350Z record for rwhp....but was out-done by Tuan @ GRD Performance with an APS tt and he boosted to 503rwhp on 93 octane)

zero2prove (APS TT, APS exhaust, APS test pipes) - goal: unknown...probably 650+rwhp Currently: seeing how long the motor will last at 500rwhp (already has engine built just waiting for the current one to blow, we'll see how long it will last, he is a perfectionist so this should be interesting (he tunes it himself)(holds the record for TT'd VQ35DE in 350Z on the stock internals))

10secapstt (APS TT, aeromotive fpr, cp pistons, pauter rods I think, etc.) - goal: 650+rwhp Currently: breaking in motor and tuning monthly

bldrz (GReddy TT with TD05H-20G's, etc.: http://www.bouldernissanmotorsports.com/en_US/ ) - goal: ~650rwhp Currently: awaiting more upgrades and tuning weekly

Jason@MRC (APS TT, etc.) (only posts on 350z-tech.com) - goal: unknown...over 500rwhp I think Currently: breaking in the APS TT, ~400rwhp on the stock motor and holding the record for aps tt with stock internal VQ35DE in 350Z at the drag track...mid 11's on slicks

mazzoo (SFR TT with T60-1's, aebs stroker, etc.: http://www.wide350z.com/ ) - goal: 800-900rwhp on race gas Currently: finishing assembly of the motor and turbo's

enron exec (APS tt with pauter rods, arias pistons, ats twin plate clutch, etc.: lightspeedperformance.cc ) - goal: over 500rwhp Currently: breaking in motor

cquence 350 [Z] (greddy tt, etc.) - goal: 500-600rwhp Currently: leaking white/blue smoke (thinks it's the headgasket from a drag strip run), about to buy a fully built 350z motor from g356gear (pauter rods, arias pistons, etc.)

t32gzz (greddy tt, hks fcon vpro, etc.) - goal: unknown...over 500rwhp I think Currently: getting headwork done at SGP Racing

There are plenty of others (ZRAYGO, gurgenpb, g356gear, g3po, etc., etc.) shooting for at least 500rwhp

Places I would trust with your 350Z work (have experience with twin turbo'd 350Z's (positive experience) and are leading the way in the 350Z world and have built a few VQ35DE's... SGP Racing in Houston, CJ-Motorsports in Chicago, CP Racing in NC, Z1 Auto/Performance in NY, MRC Motorsports in NJ, GRD Performance in Chicago, Light Speed Performance in Houston, those are the one's that I would trust with building my VQ35DE and installing a twin turbo kit and tuning.

Hope this gives some info to a few people and maybe even helps clarify some things.

Good thread . . . . wait until Greg, the owner of Injected Performance, unveils his dyno queen. If I'm not mistaken, its being tuned for the standalone (Magn. Mor) and they're gunning for some extremely high (sub 1000) numbers. Once they do that though, it will be dropped for more streetable figures.

What do you guys estimate the 1/4 Mile time to be at 1000 HP?

Average driver? 10's... Great driver? ~9's..

Just estimating since Performance Motorsports has ~1200-1400hp and ran a low 8. Traction is the main issue [launching].

slick tires should help. with some good suspension.

Performance Motorsport I think to date has run a 8.19 ET(not sure). Another 350Z is running in the same time area. The power output is somewhere in the area of 1600-1700HP.
There's also 3 (I know of)Pro modified 350Z's running VH45DE engines.
I don't think these qualify under the topic heading, "boosted 350Z's", so I won't even go there.
There all having the same problem as nissan 350ztt says, "Traction".
Goodyear has been working on tires, both street and slicks that well hookup and correct this problem. When this happens watch out, you'll see some 7's runs for the VQ35DE engine cars.
