Hello, i have a 1998 honda accord ex. 4cyl, 130,000 miles, auto. When i accelerate from a dead stop, my car hesitates and doesn't want to go. it runs fine when it idles but when i step on the gas, it feels like it going to die out on me and a few times it has happened. It happens mainly when i start it up cold. and when the engine is warm, its not as bad. what could my problem be, i'm thinking clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump.

Please help.

How long has it been doing it? Reason I ask, sounds like what a tank of watery gas will do.

It's been happening for about 3 weeks now.
