Finally I started one bigger project. It' will be Mikka's car from Artic rally before couple years.
I will follow Phil's great model as guide for my model.
I'm still working on remodeling fron part of car.

Phil, am I going in right direction?

Are there more of the corrected Mitsubishi Sports decals around...? I also have one of these with this decal set waiting to be built...

RallyRaider
05-31-2005, 06:47 AM
Glad the decals arrived safely Zeljko, I see you had no trouble applying them in the right places. :)

ata, the corrected decals are just the "Motor Sports" logos printed in a cool grey rather than the silver of the S27 sheet. I sent Zeljko the leftovers of when I made mine.

More progress, body is clear coated. But photos are little ruined in resizing.
On one tank is PE set instead molded one, and on another are belts which I made from masking tape.

Just arrived Reji snow tires and wheels. I think that wheels are maybe little wide but that can be corrected. I just made quick cleaning on wheel to check it.
I'm not sure about tires, what you think?
Tires for moder cars should be like this, and they are not:
http://www.michelinsport.com/sport/front/templates/affich.jsp?codeRubrique=605&lang=EN
This ones looks like they are from 80's.

Zeljko, they remind me of mud and snow Dunlops from the late 70's early 80's. Normally for road cars however they were used as cheap alternatives in club rallying. I have seen resin full snow tyres somewhere which would be correct. I just need to remember where on the internet I was.

Other than that, I am impressed with the attention to detail you are showing. How is the other Mitshi going?
