i have reset the ecu by taking out the hazard fuse and by removeing the negitive battery cable. i have to wait till the weekend before i can get a hold of another timing light. so i am stuck with the 3k rev limit

yes, you can pull the black cable from your battery, or you can pull the ECU fuse from the engine compartment fuse box (both should be left un-plugged for about 10 mins.)

it is currently fixed(knocks on wood) i just took the hazard fuse out and drove around town the came back and stuck the fuse in. do you guys know if driving around with out that fuse could have hurt anything? i dont think so but it might have who knows. i have come to the conclusion that my car is possesed because right before it fixed itself it threw severel different codes and at one point the light just stayed on

driving with the fuse out coulnt have hurt anything... and yes sometimes cars throw "false codes" its a pain....
