SE-R -vs- Accord97Tsi 05-09-2005, 04:40 PM So last night I was on the highway, heading home from a buddy's house and I see an accord merge onto the freeway ahead of me and cut somebody off. I get closer to it and see that it's lowered, has rims, exhaust and sounded like intake. So I give it some gas and pass him at about 10 over the speed limit. As expected, about a quarter mile up the road he makes a point to change lanes and maintain speed next to me (about 70mph). I wait for him to drop it, and as soon as he does I do the same. I immediately pull on him and by the time we reach about 105 I have 2+ cars on him. I know this isn't a surprising kill by any means, but It's been a long time since I've had a race and felt like posting it. Igovert500 05-09-2005, 04:59 PM nice kill...how do you like the ser...my friend is thinking about getting a specV CivRacer95 05-09-2005, 07:29 PM I'm betting it wasn't even an Accord. Admit it. It was a Civic that you beat, and you just changed the name of the car . C'mon, you know I'm right . Well, in any case, good kill/race. PWRDbyUNCLEbens 05-09-2005, 10:57 PM Been a while since you posted. Good Kill. Get a new clutch yet lol. -The Stig- 05-09-2005, 11:03 PM w00t... good stuff1! youngvr4 05-10-2005, 12:28 AM yeah hows that clutch? drftk1d 05-10-2005, 02:24 AM cool. what year was the accord and was it a wagon? 97Tsi 05-10-2005, 05:42 PM Hahah...no, it wasn't a civic, I promise! No new clutch yet, although my clutch cable snapped! So, along with my waterpump, I had that replaced and my mechanic said my clutch is pretty warn, so it shouldn't be too long before it's replaced. Err...I think it was around a 95-96 Accord, definately wasn't a wagon vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
