The seat belt warning light does not go off, so I was trying to bypass the wires that power the sensor on the seat. I think I fried the power seat power. I checked all the fuses and they were good. Two questions: is there a fusable link and where? Second question is how to get the seat out of the car. Do I need to get the heat shield off from under the car and unbold it from (at least 3) below?

Don't know about the fuse, but to get the seat out you don't have to get under the car, just unbolt the 4 bolts from the top, you might want to soak them good with WD40 first.
