ok my cousin has a problem with her accord, when it idles it shakes hard, but once you press on the gas it stops shaking and runs fine, i changed the fuel filter but no difference. another important thing, i was checking the spark while the car was runnning and on the number 4 spark plug wire, it had oil dripping from it when i pulled it out and the power of the engine didnt make much of a difference, but when i pulled out the rest of the wires the engine almost stalled out. could replacing the gasket for the spark plugs and possibly the plug itself fix this? i also that about maybe moisture in the gas tank or even fuel pump needs to be replaced? i really need help soon, thanks

oh yea also when she was driving it on the highway, the car started sputtering, then the speed starting going down untill it stopped, and she was still pressing the gas.

I believe the 4th cylinder is not working. This could due to the spark plug or the wire. Take a look at the plug, is the color of the deposit looks ok? I doubt there is anything to do with the timing. The oil dripping should be from the plug tube (if the oil is on the other side from the thread, or you have big trouble) and should not cause the shake.

Test the 4th cylinder see if you have spark.
