its a 97 taurus gl wagon with around 150000 on it and a 3.0 liter v6. Its a weird problem with the electrical system i think. I had to take the relay out that controls the dome light because the light stays on most of the time and only sometimes shuts off. even while im driving its telling me a door is open. Then a while ago when i put the car into drive i lost power steering, radio, windows, and more and then if i put it into nuetral it all came back. A cam position sensor replacement fixed that somehow. Or rather the sensor that tells the computer what position the shifter is in whatever that is called. But now i still have the light problem. it misfires and bucks at the 2500 rpm mark and then smooths out afterwards. check engine light is on and the code is for the o2 sensors which have all been replaced more than once. It has a fairly new fuel filter. It also idles weird. not rough really but not very smooth either. Im goin nuts because i dont know what to do. I heard that moisture in or around the coil pack causes stuff like this but all is dry especially when i took a hair dryer to it. I have also been told that it is the map sensor(manifold absolute pressure) but i didnt think these cars had them. Anybody have any ideas? Cuz other than that the car is great.

The door ajar thing is extremely simple. The latch in the door is stuck. Spray some WD-40 into the door latch(es) and work it a few times and that should go away.
