whats up ppl

got chased by the cops yesterday, heres how it went.

Me ang one of my mates, where cruising in his supra its a TT 6-speed, driving like 10 below the limit, heading through the city to a party about 20 mins away. The roads a 5 lane freewy accross the birdge heading into town. just cruising along enjoying the cool breeze and a Integra shoots passed us, so my mate who has something against hondas im not sure y, guns it and catches up pretty quick, so we sit on their tail till traffic clears, when there is finally space we sread out with 1 lane between us and gun it. Well i dunno what that honda had, but it was pretty quick it held with us for a bit but the supra started pulling hard at about 100+ and we left them about 3 or 4 cars behind.

At about 140kph we passed a car in the middle lane, 1 of us on either side, it just so happens that it was an unmarked cop car!!! by the time we saw the lights we were a fair bit in front of it, and my buddy just gunned it leaving the honda far behind, we hit about 220 at one point, before slowing and taking the nearest exit (happens to be the one we wanted) he took that corner WAY to fast and oh so neary lost it around the corner, we floored it again turned down several streets b4 pulling into a driveway and turning off the motor, and quietly soiling our pants.

after about 15 mins we took several back roads towards the party, and after getting there and changing our jocks we sobered up with a few strong drinks. To top the whole situation off about 40 metres down the road from the party there was a police station .....

ps. no idea what happend to the honda.......maybe stopped, maybe got away.

Other than that, I consider you and your mate to be very luck in the turn out of that situation. If I were you, I wouldn't drive with him ever again. It's pretty stupid to risk your passengers life just to get away from a ticket/citation. Just not right at all.

The funniest story i've heard involving cops is a couple of dudes my friend knows, found one of those sirens from an unmarked cop car and used it to pull people over. Ironically, the 2nd car they pulled over was an actual unmarked police car, needless to say they got busted big time. One of them uses his court summons notice to pick up chicks by leaving it hanging out of his pencil case, hahaha, I guess it's just the type of guys they are.

I think they found the siren on the side of the road. I don't think it was an actual real copper one. Maybe someone else was using it and got pulled over so chucked it out to get rid of the evidence. But yeah, when i heard that story i was pissing myself for a good 5 minutes.

Like the first guy they pulled over was cos he was racing them at the lights and when they broke the speed limit he put the siren on, so damn funny. Gave them a warning after pissing with them for 10 minutes. Then karma hit him back, hahahaha.

Yeah, they were 17 and just turned 18 at the time. They both got some hefty community service.

I know the ideology here behind sentencing is definitely rehab. Putting 2 teenagers in jail for having a laugh is a bit harsh. Putting young first time offenders in jail is just stupid imo.

But yeah, it was treated as a serious offence.

i ran from the cops just once.........twice but the main one was cause i was already going like 130-140mph. i wasnt about to stop and pull over, and i was pretty damn sure i could get away.

Yeah, it ain't running all that great, but i haven't really tried to get it up there either, got to about 95 and had to shut down cuz i was running out of straight in the road, it still had more pull though. 110 in the contour, damn, how long did it take?

the only time i have personally run from the cops (i mean i was in control of the vehicle) was on my bike... was speed trapped doing 120 in a 50 zone and the cops pulled out to give chase, they didnt get my tags so i just gunned it, they dissappeared in the distance, when i got home i shat my self for the rest of the night thinking id hear a knock on the door! not cool

Never really run from the cops myself, never really had the need. I was with a bud when he ran from the cops in his dads RX-7 (late model, some bolt ons I think), but when he realized he wasn't gonna loose them after like, a minute, he pulled off the highway onto a side road in into a parking lot, and told the police officer he was just trying to find a safe place to pull over. Didn't work, and I had to drive the RX-7 to go pick him up at the police station and bail him out.

New Years Eve a bunch of remote aquaintances of mine were at the same party I was at. Well apparently they decided to speed/race by the police station (brilliant..right?) So as they were doing around 100mph past the PD in a 45mph zone, the police gave chase. Pulled one car over a few miles down the road. The front car got away, got into a industrial district and lost the cops...of course when he got back on the main roads, they pulled him over 10 mins later. Both drivers lost their licences for running and DWIs, and the rest of the passengers got random charges ranging from under-age drinking to drug possessions. (Did I mention they are very remote aquaintances?)

I'm not saying I havn't run from the cops, it's happened a few times. All I'm saying is pick your battles, if you're gonna do it...make sure you get away.

In other words, make sure its an SUV, if your car is fast then the crown vic is slow for you, but never to the Camaro, thats a death sentence, Lol. Btw about those guys impersinating cops, what did they wear?

Damn, RX-7s can't even outrun the fuzz? I always thought the ol' rex could take them on pretty easily.
