recently I have noticed while going over small bumps, and what not there is a rattle or a knocking noise coming from the left front tire area, I was thinking cv joint but I don't know. Also steering feels loose.
Any ideas let me know???

To check for CV joints try turning steering wheel all the way to the max and slowly roll along. Try it both ways and if they are going out they will knock/click.
Try climbing under the front end and grab different parts and see if anything is loose or looks funny. Good luck!
