Just bought a (used)'98 Regal LS, 3.8 60k on it,
I was looking at my dash cluster...and since I have no book that comes with the car...I have no idea what the "range" light is on my car..
I have assumed it is many different things, but I just have no idea what it is...fill this girl in on what it is...
I just didnt feel like hanging around the dealer any longer to ask a bunch of dumb questions...
as it is I have to bring it back because my passenger side wiper doesnt work

i might just have to go either to a dealer or a junkers to see if anyone has a manual for it....

I don't think that it is any different on a Canadian Regal but you must be referring to the DIC (Driver Information Center).

Here is an excerpt from the owner's manual: "Shows the approximate distance you can drive without re-fueling. This is based on the amount of fuel in the tank and on the fuel economy of the most recent 25 miles (40 km)."

BTW - Congratulations on your purchase. I've got a '99 Regal LS (100K miles) & '01 Regal GS (40K miles). Good luck!

know what...you are right....had i actually taken the time to push a few buttons in the car...i would have known that and not wasted anyones time or a thread....

it also shows me my oil life etc, ...so ok I am blonde :grinno:
and apparently i made an extremely good purchase :iceslolan (with the low kms and stuff)

Thats very low mileage. Sounds like blondes have more fun driving their Regals. :lol2:
