Does anyone know if you can put a transmission out of an 1990 Buick Century into a 1991 Chevy Lumina?

Probably. They are both 3.1's, right?

Actually the Buick is a 3.3 and the Chevy is a 3.1

If the pan is the same shape, and the electrics plug in the same, it should work.
