I'm trying to pass the remote of an Alpine CD changer from the trunk to the cabin. No luck from the trunk side. Want to take out rear seat to have a go from that side. When I push and pull on the squab nothing is happening. Any Suggestions?

push down and toward the rear, you might have to push hard.
