99 accord coupe - stock tire question99AccordCoupe 04-08-2002, 09:28 PM I've got the stock bridgestone turanza tires on. They came with the car and have 26k miles on them. The tread still has about 50% more life in it. My problem is, I hear a low tire noise that goes around and around when the tire moves, usually around 20mph. Above that you don't hear it. Rotated the tires, it's still there. Went to Bridgestone, they said it's a wheel bearing. I said bull$hit, and went to Honda. Honda said it's definitelly the tires. Wheelbearings make a different noise. Bridgestone said they won't replace them for free. They finnally said the tires aren't "round" and if I want the noise to go away, I should replace the tires. So I figured since I don't need tires now, I'd wait it out. Any of you having the same problems with these tires? HONDA_99 04-09-2002, 03:05 PM Only problem i had with those tires that they are a piece of crap. SleeperTeg 04-09-2002, 03:09 PM I am not too impressed with the stock tire on my 98 Integ GS. Michelins. I am getting new wheels and tires next week. Kosei K1's and Bridgestone PP's. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
