Is it natural for the airbag light to be on after radiator replacementd? I had to dismantle the front bumper to replace the radiator, and now my air bag light is on. It blinks intermittantly for 30 seconds, and then it may go off or stay on.
I know there are sensors around there, and I wondered if I could have screwed one up, or is it a simple case of resetting the light?

Also, how can I verify that the airbag is functional?
Thanks

check the mounting of the sensors. A bad ground can cause this to happen.

I looked in my Haynes manual, and it said to disconnect the battery before doing anything relating to the sensors. No diagnostic instructions; all it said was take the vehicle to the dealer.

I checked both airbag fuses and there're good.

How difficult is checking ground with sensor in place? Can anyone dedscribe procedure?
