For a stock F22B1 Automatic, which radiator do you think is best for stock performance and long engine life, the stock Honda (Toyo) radiator or an aluminum double core radiatior? Thanks

I'll defer to the experts, but in general adding cores if not neccessary will sometimes DECREASE cooling efficiency.

I agree by adding more cooling fins you actually get a radiator that will cool better but in the same token it will not allow the engine to heat up to normal operating temp which can hurt performance and such also.

put on the stock radiator unless you have heavily modified your motor turbo.supercharger, NA etc.

Thanks for all your input. I have been considering which one to do. Im confused on which one. They both have pros and cons. I have a palstic/steel double core radiator and I have been considering going back to the stock one. I heard a certain amount of heat is needed but I also heard that better cooling can be better. can the double core radiator actually be hurting anything? Thanks again.

No. It won't even over-cool. That's what the thermostat takes care of.

Yeah thats what I was thinking too but I wasnt sure. What about the Automatic Transmission cooling lines? does the transmission have a thermostat type of thing to circulate the fluid when its hot and not when its cold? Thanks again
