I usually find the brake check much easier. Slows them down, and worse comes to worse they hit me and i get new goodies for the car.

Despite having been in those situations, and definantly wanting to do the same, I'd have to agree that it was kind of a dick thing to do. However this is coming from a guy who threw a milkshake at a car for doing something similar.

That was an awesome story. It makes me think I need to keep more pennies in my ashtray :) - for one of those "worse case scenarios"

Probably not, you know how much milkshakes cost now? I could buy a gallon and a half of gas for that price. I bet the lady was totally stupified when she realized what happened.

Awesome story, I think I will use the penny retaliation if I get in a similar situation.

Gas is 2.15 here for regular and shakes are atleast 3.50, that's pretty much buying a gallon and a half of gas.

Really, please explain to me how that's any worse than throwing a handful of fucking pennies at someone, while you're doing 70+. I'm talking about pulling my pistol out from under my seat, holding it in my right hand, and waving it around in the cabin of my car.

Because pennies don't kill people. You whip the gun out and you just escalated the situation to the highest level.

Wow, that's completely retarded. Some how, by my displaying my gun, the other driver is gonna be killed? Amazing.

Oh, and those pennies most certainly can kill someone. Did you ever stop and think of how someone might react to a dozen metallic disks flying at them while they're driving down the road at 75 MPH? What if they had tried to avoid the pennies and lost control? And what if there had been another car beside or behind her? Hmm, guess throwing shit at someone wasn't such a great idea after all. If you have to resort to throwing shit at someone to get them off your tail, it's already been escalated to the highest level.

The BEST thing to do, in that circumstance, would've been to call the state police, and let them deal with her crazy ass.

what if they swerve to avoid potentially getting shot?
what if they panic from the sight of a gun being waved at them?

streetrcr45
05-04-2005, 07:26 PM
the point being made here...is that a gun is just as dangerous as the pennies. Each can lead to the other getting killed..

End of story

Yes, in those circumstances, pennies could cause a fatal accident...but compare the number of penny-related fatalities to the number of gun-related deaths in the past year. Obviously the gun is a bit more drastic. I know places where you throw pennies, you might get your ass kicked. You whip out a gun, and there will be times you wished you had a bulletproof rear window. While I see your point, you have to admit a gun is something to take alot more seriously. Hence the reason they don't do background checks or require you to have a permit to own pennies...
