If not does anyone know where I can get these colors? The pearl effects on these are simply amazing

Go get them from Nissan. It will look better.

Cobra Colors (http://cobracolors.com/) have most Nissan colors, as long as you live in the US itīs no problem, although if you donīt, youīll have to find a Nissan dealer to get some.

P.S the blue color in the first pic is called "Bayside blue" I think, could be Tamiya Mica Blue aswell.

A close spray can match to Midnight Purple is Gunze Dark Purple Mica. For Bayside Blue, you can use Tamiya Blue Mica (as mentioned in the Tamiya R34) or Gunze Bright Blue Mica (as mentioned in the Aoshima R34). If you got an airbrush, you should use the real color.

Aren't those pictures made by Tamiya ? they should use their own paint isn't it ? :D

They should state the color used in the instructions

I'd have loved to stock Midnight Purple, but it's a color shifting tricoat finish. Painfully expensive!!

Anyway you could get that yellow that Nissan is/was putting on their skylines (R34s). I have yet to see any other company match that color....and it's so secsi :grinyes:

With regards to that midnight purple color.... my LHS told me how to attain that shade. They mostly sell Gunze paint products.

1st - color the car gloss black.
2nd - overcoat the black with gunze's red pearl.

voila! midnight purple....

Still have to try it on a kit to confirm it though.
