manual to automatic climate control swap out

I have been looking at a couple GM trucks (Silverado, Tahoe, etc) but have come across a few that are really good deals and I would buy except for the fact they have the manual temperate control unit. Does anyone know if the manual climate control unit can be replaced with the automatic unit and how difficult of a swap out it would be?

im wondering the same thing myself. i have a 2005 silverado with manual climate control and was wondering if i can swap it out for a electronic one. if you here anything please post im wondering the same thing you are!!!

You will be purchasing a headunit, a new harness from the dash all the way to through the headliner and some new sensors. It can be done but you will be out some $$$$$ and some time.

Search some of the other forums, I know someone did it.
