Ford Speed Density 5.0 HO in a S-15

I've been helping someone with a project of putting a 1986 Speed density 5.0 HO into a S-15 and we're having a problem with it wanting to flood and the wiring . Has anyone done this change before or does anyone know where to find a universal wiring harness for this EFI system.
