This battery has a cover with what looks like 2 clips. I can open the one back toward the windshield, but the other one is under a wiring harness and what appears to be a fuse holder. Can this be removed to get at the battery? I need to charge or replace it.
Thanks.

I don't know if yours is the same as my '97 or not. Battery is located behind driver's side headlight. You have to remove the core support brace, winshield washer tank, and a small power junction box to access it. To charge the battery, there is a jumpstart terminal located over the left wheelwell, should have a red cap over it that you pull off, then there is a lug you can put a charger on (pos). The negative can be connected to any bare metal part of the motor.

I have a feeling you are looking at the cover over the computer on the passenger's side?

It is on the passenger side and is as large as the battery might be, but I will check. (The car is my father-in-laws, is 60 miles away, and he is in a nursing home now.)
I will also look for the charging lug, since that might be all I need.
Thanks.
