Satellite radio for a 99 Taurusjoshua_msu 04-29-2005, 04:03 PM I have a 99 Taurus SE sedan. I was wondering how hard it would be to install a Satellite radio unit to go along with the stock stereo? Does the stereo have any RCA inputs, or would have have to use an FM tuner? I have the optional CD changer if that matters at all. drdisque 04-29-2005, 04:12 PM the stereo does not have RCA Inputs, you would have to use an FM Modulator joshua_msu 04-29-2005, 04:45 PM Do those work generally well? I had one a few years back for my CD player, and the sound quality just wasnt that great and had a lot of static, granted I do live in Chicago. maybe they work better now. I do notice a lot of the FM modualtor type. drdisque 04-29-2005, 06:23 PM my friend has an XM FM Modulator on his Sentra and it sounds really good. mwt 04-30-2005, 10:28 AM There is an adapter cable that can go to the cd changer that will can hook up directly so you don't have to use a modulated signal. go to someone that installs stereos and have them look it up for you Mike :smokin: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
