licenses are rarely required to race, i was going to do a midnight drag at the local track with a parents svx but they wouldn't let me, lol, but its kinda like the same way as a kid can get a piots license, or atleast i tihnk its still that way, but when i was around 9-10 i was going to, because my dad flew and everything and he wanted me to, but i got lazy

Yea, but when he first competed, he was only 15 and he didnt have his license. Im pretty sure you have to have your license for most tracks.

Actually, with most tracks you need a parental waiver, a waiver from the track pending proof that your are competent to race, and proof that you have competed previously in some form of motorsport (usually karts or 1/4 midgets).

Lee Boss, who now races USAC Sprints and Silver Crown, won the Sandusky Speedway 305 Asphalt Sprints track championship at age 15. It's become very common in racing circles especially with F1 drivers who can't even legally drink champagne getting podium finishes.

thats what i had to do if i wanted to race at the drags, they said i needed a waiver signed, it would've been no problem if i had a car
