I have an 01 RAM 1500 witht he same engine my specs in my book say I can tow up to 5000 lbs. and that is for a Manual trans. so you with an auto Ia ssume will have no problem what so ever with 2200 lbs. I had a Chevy Blazer with a V6 that could tow 2000 lbs. a Dodge ram will have no problem
