I have a 92 rodeo that has some really loud rattling in the rear. It sounds like it is comming from the spare tire holder but im not sure, any ideas? If it is the spare do I need to replace a spring or something?

A lot of time it is the bushing that holds the leaf spring on. When the rubber is worn, it can cause a klunking sound.

Also, it could be your rear door. I'm not sure how it works, but sometime you can put a couple wraps of electrical tape on the catch.

well it turned out to be a combination of the wheel carrier not being in both clicks and my rusty old tailpipe hitting the body. Thanks guys!
