Compression Hose Fitting set

Can anyone give advise maybe a diary on how to apply Compression Hose Fitting set without messing up the braided hose?

I keep pulling the hose apart when I try to connect the fitting.
What glue do you use too?

I put a small dab of CA glue on the end of the braided line and after it dry's I cut the end on an angle. The glue keeps the line together when you put the fittings on. I put all the fittings on the line, then cut the lengths you need with a pair of fittings in the middle of the cut line. I then put a small dab of 5 min. epoxy on the ends and slide the fittings to each end.
