Bought my Si!DownTheHatch 04-07-2002, 02:53 PM Hey all I just bought a Nighthawk Black 2002 Si, very fun car! I put white 18's on it and blue Nokya blue headlights in, I love the 7th gen! Heres some pics: http://www.webphotos.com/list_photos.asp?mi=3&smi=2&a=71358 sparq 04-07-2002, 03:09 PM Yeah youre over on CHB right? I hate you :finger: Actually I dont really like the car itself, but I guess in the right situation with the right mods it might be alright. But its your car, who cares what I think -- just be happy with it and keep it near redline! :D  markpa 04-07-2002, 03:10 PM yeah congrats on the new ride but as for my preference i hate the new style. Ugly on the outside and ugly on the inside. DownTheHatch 04-07-2002, 03:14 PM Well to each his/her own. What matters is wether I like it or not :) And I love it :) dreemkill 04-07-2002, 03:22 PM congrats on the new ride! must be cool to be the first on the block with the new toy.... hehehe... nice wheels, but you *might* wanna consider droppin that badboy a couple inches ;) DownTheHatch 04-07-2002, 03:24 PM Hells yea my friend, guess whos going to be the first one buying the lowering springs when they come out :) xivera 04-07-2002, 03:30 PM Oh no... Somebody actually went and bought this fugly little thing... Just joking! :frog: You're critique in your new little bugger? dreemkill 04-07-2002, 04:08 PM any word on how long before they are made? Originally posted by DownTheHatch Hells yea my friend, guess whos going to be the first one buying the lowering springs when they come out :) dreemkill 04-07-2002, 04:09 PM are you going race car, street car, daily driver, show car....? just curious, i think it'd look pretty good slammed and stuff :D kidrocket 04-07-2002, 04:33 PM congrats. Si's rule. I want to race a new one DownTheHatch 04-07-2002, 05:03 PM Going for clean/daily driver. sparq 04-07-2002, 06:18 PM Originally posted by DownTheHatch Going for clean/daily driver. Thats cool, cause im going for the dirty/daily driver look -- and im doing a damn good job :p :lol2: clatescivicr 04-07-2002, 06:47 PM Just wondering how those seats are? Remind me of the US ITRs.... civicNoS 04-07-2002, 06:49 PM personally i love the new si's ever sence i drove when at the dealership, awesome buy but i liked the white better CivicEx95 04-07-2002, 07:02 PM I hate it, but ask me again in 6 months. Thats about how long it took me to like the 7th gen coupes dome 04-07-2002, 08:02 PM I'm really iffy on the exterior, but I saw the type R in SCC and it looked much better. I sat in one at the NY auto show last night and was impressed. The seats were pretty suppportive and the steering wheel was small, thick and nice. The rally shifter Iwasn't too sure about until I played with it. It is actually intuitive. Seems like a blast to drive. Can't wait for a test drive. BTW, enjoy, keep her clean and have fun man. hobbesboarder 04-07-2002, 08:07 PM i didnt like the new Si from the pics but when i sat in it, it felt good. nice choice. lower that thing. CivSiGuy 04-07-2002, 08:43 PM congrats on being our first 02 Si owner on the board b16a2si 04-07-2002, 08:45 PM Congratulations. When I first saw the new Si, I hated it but after a while I'm starting to think it is ok...:) Honda did a terrible job using that puke color Si in their commercials. They should have used either Silver or Black, like yours.:D Lord_Vektra 04-08-2002, 12:41 PM has eveyone who is hating on the new SI seen it in person? I hated it too but if you go look at one you may change your mind, now Im debating on getting one or not. I hate indecision! JayFidizzy 04-08-2002, 01:41 PM I went to the auto show in NY on saturday and the SI was ok....i have some pics i'll post them later tonight. It just too much of a mix of a golf and a focus. But the rally style shifting isn't too bad its pretty cool actually. LiuBei 04-08-2002, 01:49 PM The new Si's are sweet. I wish I would have waited to buy one instead of getting a civic coupe. My local Honda dealer just got one in last week and my salesman let me drive it all day saturday. Better than the regular civics, hell they even have more passenger and cargo room than the coupes and the are smaller cars. I think I'll wait to buy an Si though, rumors of them getting the 200HP RSX engine sound pretty good. Still not a bad choice, you can't go wrong with a Honda. onesojourner 04-08-2002, 03:15 PM sweet car man i love it. just lower it asap Rice-Rocketeer 04-08-2002, 03:47 PM Damn I'm getting a nose-bleed from just looking at it :) kidrocket 04-08-2002, 03:57 PM I saw it at the auto show, and i just cant get over the headlights. they make the car look like a focus had sex with a minivan. I do like the shifter and seats though. also the CTR in SCC looked better if you can get the CTR ground effects, i think thatd look swell DownTheHatch 04-08-2002, 10:08 PM Originally posted by kidrocket I saw it at the auto show, and i just cant get over the headlights. they make the car look like a focus had sex with a minivan. Let me compare them to JayFidizzy's 99 coupe (just as an example) http://members.aol.com/jayizzy529/images/dscf0019.jpghttp://imagem.webphotos.iwon.com/1000026722/1000026722_48200273024PM0.3462488.jpg The right image won't show until you go to this address: http://www.webphotos.com/view_photo.asp?mi=3&smi=2&a=71358&p=1410145 Anyway, the shape is very very similar, except for the fact that my Si's lights are taller. It looks more like the 99's than you think. Pilot 04-08-2002, 10:26 PM Nice ride! waaait....a 2002 US Si??? thats DOHC Vtec aand rare, right? ..or is it just the canadian one? Pilot 04-08-2002, 10:34 PM Note to self: think before u type Well nice car...I can't see your pics  Post Whore CivSiGuy 04-08-2002, 11:00 PM Originally posted by Rice-Rocketeer Damn I'm getting a nose-bleed from just looking at it :) it's that dry huh? :D You should contact Spoon and see if they can't forward you some K20 parts that they showed at the Tokyo auto salon. A pretty penny I'm sure, but it'd be sweet. ;) vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
