Possible Turbo E90!DinanM3_S2 04-26-2005, 08:36 PM http://www.autocarmagazine.com/News_Article.asp?NA_ID=214768 Not sure what I think of BMW getting away from NA power, but this could be the start of something wonderful. A turbo BMW would have so much potential its not even funny. What are your thoughts? Dudesky_E36 04-27-2005, 06:27 AM To my dearest E36 . . . please forgive me, but I just couldn't stop staring . . . Skycity_BMW 04-27-2005, 09:51 AM Yeah . . that would be nice to bring back the turbo to BMW . . . Think of the mods . . . mazdaspeed88 04-28-2005, 03:01 PM Very nice, very nice!!!!! Celsdogg 04-28-2005, 04:00 PM forgive me, but i have liked BMW AG's stand on using more NA bimmers. . . i understand the potential there, and i know they have had turbo 2002's and such, but still . . . Celsdogg 04-28-2005, 04:08 PM ok, two turbos, thats nice. . . ionizer 05-03-2005, 05:20 AM yeah the old 2002 turbo was a real killer....i think it had something like 170bhp and it has a control knob to set the turbo boost from inside the car mechanically it goes like crazy....the turbo boost isnt smooth like in new cars....all of the boost come at once its brilliant :) Celsdogg 05-03-2005, 04:11 PM i would love a 2002tii, but i heard that they have pretty bad turbo lag. ionizer 05-04-2005, 07:10 AM yep they do but it rules lol that old kind of turbo power kicks in like a rocket after a while :) but if u dont throttle up u will get no turbo :) myjeepsux420 05-09-2005, 03:28 PM That will kick so much ass. I know BMW has long since tried to stay away from turbocharging, but now is the time! Twin turbos, imagine all the mods. I wonder who is making the turbos for this engine? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
