Is there any where to get the weatherstripping or seals for the soft top?Mine is gone on the Metro I purchased. It is a great little gas miser, about 45 miles per gallon. It is pretty loud without the weatherstripping so any help would be appreciated.

I found a chevy website that looks like many other websites to order parts. I've tried them in the past and my orders were always cancelled. Parts unavailable. I thought I would give another one a try. Well today I had a big surprise at my front door. I ordered weather stripping on 4-20-05. Never heard a word so I thought that it was another dead end. I GOT WEATHERSTRIPPING. Driver and passenger side. GM refers to them as the upper pieces. I wanted all new but these were the 2 I needed the most. Now since you heard my life story heres the site I ordered from. www.chevy-parts-for-less.com

HOLY SHITE! Those upper pieces are $54 buck each. You mean you paid $108 + tax + shipping for two rubber pieces?

For something that is no longer made, I think that is a great price.

True. I guess if there's a big gap there where the weatherstripping should be, $54 is better than a towel jammed in there. :)

I was thinkin' of getting these made in urethane, the real soft stuff. We could then have custom colors and whole kit's would prolly still be cheaper than getting a piece or two from the dealer.

I kit would consist of 6 pieces, 3 pieces per side.

These are the only 1 I could find. I still need the other 2 (Upper Corner and Rear) ,but dealer seams to have them anymore. I have spent alot of time looking.

you prolly need to scour the junkyards. I've seen 2 verts here at the junkyards. neither had those seals/weatherstripping on them.
