ok the problem is it was sputtering and being a pile pretty much, then we found out the first cylnder wasn't firing, i dropped a new set of plugs in, NOPE, new cap and rotor, NOPE, and today i just got 4 new wires NOPE...... the only thing left could be the fuel... and i would i check to see if that injector is failing....please help, or that yellow thing is gonna be a toasty black.

An Injector could be stuffed or one of the seals around the injector could be leaking. Fuel pump might also be a possible issue. Checked your fuel filter recently (I know it sounds obvious but I'm trying to cover all bases). Is it happening under load or at idle?

no all cylnders are running fine besides #1... i guess it coulda got clogged maybe? i dunno or maybe there's a bad connection to that injector.... drawin straws man.

oh yah it has a rougher idle now and acceleration is just crap, i mean go figure on 3 cylnders.

Hmmm... if the injector seal is leaking then it's drawing air in - spray some WD40 around it to see if that briefly changes the idle.

The injector can get clogged and can also fail to pulse leading to rough idle. Prolly worth getting a leak-down test done on the head to see if there's a burnt or damaged valve that isn't sealing properly. Have you done a compression test recently?

damn, it's sounding pretty bright..... we did a compression test and it read 185 on that cyl that isn't firing... so that was good, then we checked the voltage going to the injector and it was getting power and you can hear the solenoid clicking when the engine is running...... so next we popped off the fuel rail and that injector for that cyl was bone dry on the nozzle side and there was fuel going to it on the rail side of it... so i'm hoping it may just be clogged.. i pray. hahah..... by the way what injectors would work in that????

and moppie i have a shitty memory but i think my engine number was like 1027412, i think, it's prolly off.

Best guess is to get an injector off a B16A 1G 'teg or 4G civic. Just to make sure that it flows as well as the other 3, not better or worse.

But you knew that anyway ;)

Finnaly! :D

Do what Setanta, said, sounds like you might be onto something there.

Ok, your engine is from a proboly 91 XSi Integra. The numbers pretty high, certianly a lot higher than mine. (but there more Tegs made)
Could also be from an RSi, check the g/box code, its the the one that come with the engine, then a S1 is from the XSi and a YS1 is from the RSi. (differnt ratios)

Now, the Dizzy should be the same as all the others, are you sure you didnt get them confused at the shop? and you are infact useing a USDM B16a one?

And please dont burn it!!! :(
