How do I remove/install the sway bar??miekedmr 04-23-2005, 03:36 PM I have a 94 2wd pickup and my old sway bar got mangled and broke one of the endlinks. It was useless so I just cut it in half to get it out. I got a sway bar from the junk yard by cutting through one of the bars that run under it (torsion bars?) and now I'm trying to wiggle that one under my truck. I CANNOT figure out how to fit it through there with the torsion bars in place. I even removed the brackets going from the engine block to the tranny to get more room inbetween. Someone please give me some guidance. zachary 06-16-2005, 11:17 PM There is really no way to get around the torsion bars, youll have to take um off, put the sway bar on, then put the torsion bars back on. Takin the torsion bars off is kinda tuff, they are spring loaded, a manual will give you instructions on takin them off.
