I have a I4 1999 contour that every time you go through a water puddle it will stall. then after it sits for awhile it will restart...please help...way beyond frustration now! thanks!

i had a 98 se. and when ever we hit a puddle and the water splahedthe right way the water cased the belt to sliped and the car would die all conturs are that way.

do you have an aftermarket intake?
