Stubborn tranny search...jeremykjones 04-22-2005, 09:15 PM I will not give up... below is what someone told me.. i was wondering if i could get some more info on the tranny he was talking about... nope no 6 speed tranny that i can think of, except a st 215 cadelina that had a 3sgte witch had one but ud NEVER find one anyway so dont bother looking, ur better off getting an sw20 lsd tranny So... the "st 215 Cadelina" i'm guessing is a car that i have heard little about, and this would be a strictly Japan found part. That is cool i'm sure i can find a contact out west that can hook me up with it. I really want a good solid 6spd tranny for my celica. I have a 1990 Celica GTS with the 5SFE. So if anyone could give me anymore details on this car/tranny i'd appricate it very very much!! thanks, Jones barkroc2 04-22-2005, 09:59 PM i dont think there was ever a 6sp 3sgte, the newer celis have 6sp i believe, but im not sure it would fit. never heard of that st 215 Cadelina -- i put it in 3 search eng and got nothing. put your $$ into other things SigmaProjects 04-23-2005, 05:10 AM I think he means caldina. Try that. tEaM_oMeGa 04-27-2005, 11:36 PM i dont think there was ever a 6sp 3sgte, the newer celis have 6sp i believe, but im not sure it would fit. never heard of that st 215 Cadelina -- i put it in 3 search eng and got nothing. put your $$ into other things there is a st215 caldina....he spelled it wrong thats why you couldn't find it...but it is the newest models of the 3sgte motors with 260 hp unlike the st205, they only have 255 hp....its so called "the U.S version of the matrix in japan". but the car is way better looking than the matrix.. 91 Celica St 04-29-2005, 11:20 AM yea its caldina and yes there was a 6 speed version (as well as a 5 speed) the reason why you wont find one is because tey almost dont exist anymore your better off getting a mr2 lsd tranney....there has been a st-215 front cip w a 6speed tranney on ebay once but it sold for $6k and im sure u wouldnt want to spend that much not to mention its going to be VERY hard to find the tranney aone w/out the motor vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
