Restoration: Mitsubishi Colt/Miragecbrain 04-21-2005, 10:18 PM Here is a kit given (yeah.... given) to me by someone who has shifted to modelling military stuff namely armor. Guess this kit was built way back in the 80s during his teens. Motorized and no interior detail except for the dashboard and steering wheel. Body, wheels, tires and clear parts still intact. A dream kit for an 80s era JDM kit lover. :D This is now one of my favorite builds and it is currently basking in a vat of brake fluid at home. ehehehe http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v684/ardee21/mirage/th_P4180273.jpg (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v684/ardee21/mirage/P4180273.jpg) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v684/ardee21/mirage/th_P4180275.jpg (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v684/ardee21/mirage/P4180275.jpg) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v684/ardee21/mirage/th_P4180279.jpg (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v684/ardee21/mirage/P4180279.jpg) Motor removed and never to be seen again. See... no interior detail.... ahehehehe. madslammer 04-22-2005, 12:01 AM Cool, man. I saw one of those at a model show here in PR, and they were asking about $60 for it. You're a very lucky guy! Ansel Marrow 04-22-2005, 04:02 AM I totally love these old style boxy cars. Excellent restoration. mrceej 04-22-2005, 10:31 AM Very cool car!! Porsche Carrera 04-22-2005, 11:48 AM my gawd, that looks sweet! what brand is it? cbrain 04-22-2005, 11:59 PM my gawd, that looks sweet! what brand is it? The person who gave it to me isn't sure himself what company made this kit. It may either be Imai or Arii though. :D madslammer 04-23-2005, 12:40 AM The person who gave it to me isn't sure himself what company made this kit. It may either be Imai or Arii though. :D I would say it's more like Nichimo, Mitswa or Imai, but I don't thinks it's Arii. Just my 2 cents. . . vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
