so i put some fogs in place of my headlights and put 100w bulbs in them, and put projectors next to them with 55w bulbs (amber). heres a night comparison shot with just the 100 watter on.

And heres a few outside pics, still have some minor adjustment to do

and heres a new pic of my recently aquired hatch for $50, its nice, off of a base model
http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/4/web/772000-772999/772010_35_full.jpg

and one day time pic with 100's on. im thinking about bypassing the bright switch in the interior so i can run all four at once, as they are now, the amber projectors are the brights, and 100's are normal.

here is one of the ambers, notice the driver side one is brighter, this is because after i installed them, i found a baffle inside of one, so took it out, and look at the difference. ill take the other one out soon.

Doesn't light up enough, I think the only way to do that is to get HID version of those lights, but it looks badass though!!

how did you mount them with the eyes half way down??

nice. ghetto but nice(no one will be able to tell unless they look close).

for my hatch i shaved the rear wiper and top mount tail light, painted it and it looks friggin sweet. from the back the car looks hella wider now. i just need to paint it to match the car(i just used black for now because i didnt have time to do a good job anyways)

thanks for the comps guys, d-bo, i mounted both lights to a piece of 1-1/4" x 3/32 galvanized bracket, and then bolted it to the light housing at the angle i wanted, unplugged the motors, and lowered them manually with the little thumb screw.

and with the 100w bulbs i put in them, they put out almost the exact same light pattern as the old ones, and their sleek!

damn. that looks pretty good. what you should do after that is make a black plastic cover with holes for the lights so it still looks good during the day
good job though man. i'm gonna try somethin like that but with the e46 headlights. i'm getting closer and closer to them.. hard to find

hey that's pretty sick. i think it's good custom work. jus a few touch ups here and there and you might as well patent it. haha...

Looks good man. How's the visibility for night driving??

the light is surprisingly good, i drove home two nights ago wiht just one done, and compared to the stock, the light cover was almost exactly identical. and when i wire the bypass for the fogs, i can run them all at the same time.

ill try to post a pic of the bracket soon

lol, everytime i read the thread i think "How do you get bored, and then go do a conversion on your car?" When i get bored, i play a video game or something, not awesome headlight conversions..

yea lol, i do both at the same time.....heres the trick. You go to Gran turismo 4, you get into your bad ass audi r8 race car( or nissan r92b or 89 or 787b). you go to a 24 hour endurance(or any endurance, i have 5 more to do), you race for an hour to get laps ahead. THen you pit and put on b-spec. Then you go out and mod your ride!!!!!! Try it, its fantastic. I also play while i work, eat, sleep, hump, etc. I think my ps2 is going to blow up one of these days. Its on almost all day.

It's a mode where the comp plays for you, it's pretty cool, but they play very passively so you won't get ahead, but if you can get the lead, B-Spec will keep it. BTW, great trick chucki, I'll have to try that.

What? I put mine on B-Spec from the start... haven't lost a endurance race yet.

Just put it on level 5 "push" and turn "passing" on. Then, go to the race menu and turn up the speed to X3... and wait for the first pit. After that you can leave it on level 3 or 4 with "passing" left on.

Then it'll just go about it's business and win.

Also helps to slap on a stage 4 turbo and R1 race tires. :D

YOU'RE SELLING THE Z????

Also, it never passed for me, I guess the car I was using was to sucky, only tried it at first, haven't tried it for a while.
