I just bought my first Xterra after more than a year of wanting one. It's a 2002 manual V6 that I can't wait to take out somewhere besides houston traffic.

I am switching from a truck that had a bed to haul things, and I'm noticing how much I used the protection of a bedliner. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good cargo mat for the back?

I have a husky cargo liner in my X. I still want to get the floor mats. After hunting all winter, my carpet is a mess.

Yeah, I do a lot of camping/backpacking/kayaking etc and think that I am going to go ahead and get the neoprene seat covers and floor mats as well.

Are the Husky Liners rubber or a hard plastic? And it doesnt look as though there are cutouts for the tiedowns. Does anyone have a Nissan liner? are they comparable to the husky liners?

I've been using my Nissan ones for over 4 years now, and they've held up incredibly well. They also have reinfoced areas for cutting out holes for access to the floor hooks should you want to do that (I did with mine). I don't know how much Husky costs, but the Nissan ones are cut and fit to the exact shape of the truck. The part that covers the back of the rear seats allows for them to be folded down independently and the shape of the cover goes over the wheel humps with attachments that hold it flush against the plastic interior panels.
