When I purchased my GC it had no stereo in it...I happened to have an Infinity Stereo out of a caravan in my basement..I plugged it in, and It worked fine, although all 4 speakers were blown BAD! I bought 2 new front door Pioneer speakers, took the old ones out, hooked up the new ones, and NOTHING!!! Stereo powers on, antenna goes up, but no sound! Any help would be greately appreciated!!

Thanx!!!!

well, sorry to tell you, but you have to buy OEM Infinity speakers to work with the Infinity head unit and amp. they work on a 2 ohm signal and the aftermarket speakers read a 4 or 8 ohm signal. look on ebay for speakers.

OR...change the amp. Thats what I did.

Very odd, cuz the speakers that were blown that I took out were aftermarkets. And they had sound.

You are going to have to do some wiring. What I did is desolder the connectors out of the old amp, and soldered new leads that I ran to my new amp. That way, if I wanted to put the factory system back in (with a new amp obviously) I could just plug it in.

What year is your GC? I can get you pin-out diagrams once I know what year.
