Wide body kit???speedyfaron 04-20-2005, 12:22 AM OK I am sure that I am not the first person to ask about this, but I will ask anyway. Does anyone know if the wide body kit is still available for the older Z. (1974 260Z) I think they really make the car look that much more mean, and its gotta make it easier to keep it clean when you put on the really wide meats. Also if anyone has ever done them, can you give me a quick how to, just so I can think if I want to keep looking. Everyone has been so helpfull! THANK YOU! Faron Hodo 04-20-2005, 01:31 PM I am sure a custom body shop can mold you up one for a fair price. But as for finding one for sale now, not even sure where to start looking. k3smostwanted 04-20-2005, 04:41 PM yeah, i really doubt there is a wide body kit out there for the early Datsuns. 280ZXna 04-20-2005, 09:21 PM probehtr300 04-20-2005, 09:42 PM that a little more than just a wide body kit lol DeleriousZ 04-20-2005, 09:51 PM k3smostwanted 04-20-2005, 11:59 PM there sure is, take a look at http://www.reactionresearch.com/automotivedetails.htm Eric thats gay...keep it stock! http://www.reactionresearch.com/280yz/danjuday/RRpainted.jpg pure bling $$$ and thats stupid and a person that has a lot of time and money on their hands!!! a little side note, that site that was posted earlier...that has a convertible Z31. its ugly as sin but you ahve to give it some originality points!!! and its funny because i just seen a porsche 944 turbo in teh paper that needed body work and minor motor work. well i hate the back end of the 944 because of that huge bubble for a window. but the convertible looks sharp. well i was actually researchign what it takes to turn a 944 coupe into a convertible. i dont think it would be that hard. nab you a deck lid from a convertible in a junk yard and order you the cloth top and whip out the bondo and hack saw!!! speedyfaron 04-21-2005, 12:13 AM I dont know if I like any of them. I just want the widest rear wheels & low profile sticky tires I can stuff on this car. HaHa DeleriousZ 04-21-2005, 01:01 AM nothing like taking a hacksaw to the porsche :smokin: ExTrEmEDrIfT 04-21-2005, 01:15 AM theres this guy thats selling a 944 turbo that needs some front end work cause it was in a minor wreck for like $400 but i didnt but it cause lack of $$$ hes still got it too im still thinking bout gettin it i like those cars IMO k3smostwanted 04-21-2005, 05:12 PM theres this guy thats selling a 944 turbo that needs some front end work cause it was in a minor wreck for like $400 but i didnt but it cause lack of $$$ hes still got it too im still thinking bout gettin it i like those cars IMO is it maroon??? i was looking at the same one on autotrader. DeleriousZ 04-21-2005, 08:17 PM 944 turbo? i thought all the 944's were na.... the 93's boasted the most hp from an n/a 4 cylinder at 240hp... which i think was passed by the s2000? either way it's a huge displacement for a 4 banger, makes more tq than some v6's k3smostwanted 04-21-2005, 08:20 PM 944 turbo? i thought all the 944's were na.... the 93's boasted the most hp from an n/a 4 cylinder at 240hp... which i think was passed by the s2000? either way it's a huge displacement for a 4 banger, makes more tq than some v6's nope 944 offered a turbo...im not sure on the power ratings but i know it runs low-mid 14's stock so it must be up there. even the N/A as the 2.5L but i dont think its anywhere near 240hp... DeleriousZ 04-21-2005, 08:31 PM ahhh my bad... it was the 968 that replaced the 944 that had the beefy 4 banger.... 3.0 Litre 4 cylinder!!! DANG! http://vista.pca.org/stl/968.htm MikeMan 04-22-2005, 05:31 AM http://www.reactionresearch.com/images/vrposter01.jpg :evillol: That's one mean conversion. All you need now is a tuned, high compression, short stroking alloy 6L V-10 under the hood. -Mike vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
