ok here are my choices, im looking at a 91 300zxTT with 147xxx miles, new clutch turbo timer, system, and just got back from the shop to get a idle/injector problem. so as far as mechanical the car is sound. other than that its basically loaded, leather t-tops the works. and its $6900 another option is a 91 300zx TT but this one has 89xxx miles on it but the decription says "needs engine restore" but other than that it has new turbos, and rims. but i dont know if it has t-tops. and its $6850. they are both black with black leather. the only difference is the first one is at a dealer so i can finacne it through the dealer whereas the other one is a private party and i woudl have to go throught the bank. but i have about $5000 to spend and i really want a tt 300zx. which one do you think would be a better deal?

I'd say the one at the lot, you could always take it back and do a 'voluntary repo' if it's a problem child.

That way you're only out what you paid into it... unless you used that $5000 as a hefty down payment.

Hard to say, both sound cheap enough to afford. Z32's scare the crap outta me, not cause of how fast they are.... but maintenance costs. Bleck!

if u go thru the dealer, tell them 5000 or shove it! if they come down, low ball them some more! with the private guy see what all has to be done when he says "needs engine restore" if its new turbos and a few other things i would get his car and do the work. but thats jus my opinion!
