Alignment after Outer Tie Rod End replacement?

I just had some work done on my 2000 Malibu. Before I brought the car in the wheel was off center by a small amount to the right. They replace the outer tie rod end on the front and new struts/mounts in the rear. Now the wheel is off center to the left by a larger amount.
Would this be because I might need an alignment after replacing the tie rod end or is this something else? If it is something they caused I will go back with it but if it is an alignment then I will wait for a couple of weeks until I get my winter snow tires off and get it done then. This repair job is after costing me enough as it is.
Thanks,
rob
