Has anyone ever changed a automatic to a standerd trany? If so is it hard to do your self? And is it a good idea?

I have not personally done it, but it doesn't seem to hard. I know people who have done and are freaking thrilled by the results. You can get all the parts for around $150-$200 excluding the MTX.
