Driver side Xenon light not working. Dealer spent 30 mts and charged
£50 and asking in exess of £250 for further investigation and repair
the fault. Please help me to get this light fixed.

I don't know what your problem is but be very careful when working on these headlight systems,they can be very dangerous.
