hi,
i have a 1988 buick regal custom and my primary cooling fan will no work at all. i have checked the power to it and its fine, also i have checked the fan by jupimg it, its fina as well. I asked the local parts stores about a cooling fan relay, but they say it doesnt have one and cant tell me much. Im pretty sure it has to have a switch to tell the fans when to cut on /off.
I hope someone can tell me if it has one or something like it, and maybe even where its located.
thanks

The fan relays are located under the hood on the left side (passenger side). There is a plastic cover next to the fender with the relays underneath it.

I'm not sure if all cars came with a label on the cover. On my car there is a label that says "electrical center" and has a diagram describing the function of each fuse and relay.

I Agree your fan relays are located in the "Underhood Electrical Center" get a chiltons or haynes manual autozone or advance will have them provided that your diagram has been removed. open the hood and on YOUR Left hand side about a foot from the headlights will be a plastic cover with relays and fuses
