well... my water pump is leaking like crazy.. what is this hole in the bottom of it?? does it just need to be plugged or what?

there is a valve that releases if the bearing goes out. Do you have the waterpump off the engine?

oh ya? shit.... bearing is prolly out then... no water pump is still on the engine... i cant get the alternater to go far in enought to take the blimey belt off

well if you take it off, and blow air from an air compressor through the water pump inside hole, and it comes out that one one the shaft, or near it, then your bearing is prolly out...
