I have been looking around the web for a suitable suspension application. I was thinking of KYB AGX but so far every site I go to says they have them but only for models without hicas. Would anyone know where would be a good place to look for shock and spring setups for hicas models?

umm, I really don't think the type of shocks matter if you have super hicas or not... how much you plan on spending on suspension? because I would recommend tein coilovers, but it depends what the car is going to be used for, i.e. drag, drift, auto x, ect...

kyb agx's are fine with your car. go on ebay and buy them there. they'll run you about $350

Yea thats weird. I put some coils on my hicas model. So i dont see what the problem is with what you want.

i bought mine from this company. i'd reccommend them. and these will fit on your car

edit: i'm not sure exactly why a certain type of suspension wouldn;t fit. it makes sense that people would consider something not fitting since the wheel turns but i'm not even sure where in the assembly the wheel turns.. but as far as i know any major brand will fit on any 240 as long as its put on the right generation of 240 i.e. 89-94 shocks on an s13 or 95-98 on an s14

i was looking at kyb gr2's on ebay, and it says they don't work with hicas, is that true?

well if they say it doesn't fit then it probably doesn't.. i'll have an answer for you within the next couple of days..

alright, it's just weird.. because some auctions say that they don't fit, and others don't say anything about it.

i'd reccommend reading up on suspension.. check out the differences between the gr2s and agxs..

check out tokico too.. but i'd say go with agx. better quality than gr2.. basically you get what you pay for
