Hi, I feel like the luckiest person alive! I just got my acceptance letter from Princeton a couple of weeks ago. My parents are rewarding me with a new car. The price range is around $30k(I'm paying 10k plus gas and insurance), and I need some advice.

Just a little bit about myself and what I want from the car:
-I'm 18 years-old
-I'm a performance car enthusiast(I don't like American cars though)
-I currently own a '96 300zx which I'm planning to sell
-I prefer a 4-door, 5 passenger vehical(doesn't have to be)
-want a car with good dependability and resale value
-want high performance(0-60 in the 5s range, and 1/4 mile in 13s range)
-also want comfort(but would sacrifice it for performance)
-AWD or RWD
-good handling
-attractive and stands out

Current cars I'm considering:

EVO IX(i'm going to have to wait a couple of months)
WRX STi
'01 M3

Stay with the 300 and put the money into that. You'll be the fastest car on the road. (twin turbo)

I don't have the twin turbo , and I really don't wanna mess around too much with the engine.

Go with an evo VIII MR or if you really want to wait get an evo IX, another thing is though, maintaning those vehicles can be pricey, the brakes are rediculously expensive to replace, not to mention the tires. But if it were me i'd still get an evo.
