I have a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I have recently had to reset the compass on the overhead console however since doing so where the console should display the outside temperature it now displays the letters SC does anyone know what this means and explain how to get the temperature readings back. The console displayed the temperature perfectly fine before I reset the compass. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SC means short circuit in the temp sensor circuit or it could be the sensor
