1996 Chevy Impala SS specs and questions

Ok this is my first time posting up in the chevy forum...i think? ;) Anyways i have this neighbor selling me his `96 impala with 100k miles on it for 5g's. I know its worth about 9. I'm still debating on between a 4cyl or a v8. The gas prices are a killer but this seems like a good deal i can't pass. Does anyone know the specs on those cars and 1/4 mile? I've been searchin all over and i can't find it anywhere.Thanks:smokin:
